Nathan and I are re-watching ‘Lost’ religiously in our spare time and we’re at the end of season 3 and it’s probably the best television ever made AND WE DON’T KNOW WHAT’S HAPPENING COS WE NEVER GOT THIS FAR BEFORE but every time I go online (especially tumblr) I see a goddamn spoiler and it’s killing me :’(

Granted, I’ve only been in my new apartment for like… two… months… ANYWAY I just looked at the light switch in my room without glasses on and thought one of the screws in the plastic casing was a dimmer, got really excited thinking I could get sexy and dim the lights. Stared at it for a full minute before finally realising it was just a dumb screw. GLASSES :’(

You know what I don’t understand? When strangers come up and try to start a conversation with, “you seem to be having a bad day!” I’ve been accosted on the street countless times by strangers who tell me to “smile!”, or by guys in bars who use the pick-up line, “well you don’t look like you’re having any fun!”
I suppose they are trying...

Watchthe nugs are the best band in the universe
I started a visual journal for the month of August - where instead of writing about what I did on a particular day I would draw a little comic. It went well for about three days until I realised it was just a bunch of drawings about what I ate for lunch :(

I made risotto last night with brown rice and butternut pumpkin. As I started to prepare it, I jokingly remarked that making risotto was awesome because the recipe calls for wine and it takes ages to cook. So by the time you sit down to eat you are already a little bit tipsy.
However, brown rice takes QUITE a bit longer to cook than regular white rice. I started cooking at 6.30pm. We didn’t...

a chance encounter with someone I’m not friendly with anymore has now given me, not one, but two nightmares. the first dream involved them crashing a house party at my place, leading me to make a huge scene as I kicked them out. then they sent me a “strongly worded email” to tell me how immature I was and I woke up literally seething with rage.

the cool southerly change blew all these dry leaves into my bedroom and all over the damn carpet. I tried to vacuum them up but they were too big to get through the hose. so I put on my chunky gorman clogs and ran around stomping on big crackly leaves until they were all crushed up and easier to vacuum. it was like autumn in my bedroom, so satisfying.
